Context

Claire joined an enterprise account whose delivery was already behind schedule. The immediate need was to stabilize active work, but the deeper challenge was structural: stakeholders lacked a dependable shared view of requests, ownership, handoffs, and decisions. Progress was difficult to see, and the process was not giving either the client or the delivery team enough confidence.

The work required more than moving individual projects forward. It called for an operating model that people could understand and use consistently, supported by a workflow platform that had not yet become part of the team’s regular practice.

Claire’s contribution

As the account lead for stabilization and workflow redesign, Claire helped create order around the work in flight while partnering with others on a more sustainable process. She brought together client stakeholders, account colleagues, creative and operations partners, and the internal product team responsible for the workflow platform.

Claire’s role centered on translation and follow-through. She connected business needs to an actionable delivery path, clarified where decisions and handoffs belonged, documented the agreed approach, and helped people learn how to work within it. Product specialists configured and supported the platform; delivery teams and client partners shaped the requirements and put the new practices into use.

Approach

The first priority was visibility. Claire helped organize requests and open decisions so stakeholders could see what was moving, what was blocked, and who owned the next action. This created a shared basis for conversations that had previously depended on fragmented updates.

The team then examined the route from intake to completion. Rather than treating each delay as an isolated issue, they clarified the stages of work, the information needed at each point, and the review responsibilities across the group. The redesigned workflow made dependencies easier to discuss and accountability easier to maintain.

The platform implementation supported that operating model. Claire partnered with the internal product team to establish usage standards, create practical documentation, and train the people who would work in the system. The aim was not simply to introduce another tool. It was to give the team a consistent place and method for managing delivery.

Collaboration and outcome

The account moved to a clearer, more dependable way of working. Stakeholders had better visibility into the path from brief to delivery, and the team had a shared structure for managing work and resolving issues. The process redesign also helped rebuild confidence between the client and agency teams.

That outcome belonged to the people who adopted the workflow as much as to those who designed it. Claire helped create the conditions for change, while the client, delivery disciplines, and product partners supplied the expertise and daily practice that made it durable.

Reflection

Operational improvement is rarely just a tooling problem. A platform can make work visible, but trust comes from clear expectations, useful documentation, and consistent behavior. Claire carries that lesson into complex marketing programs: stabilize what is urgent, understand the system producing the friction, and build a path that teams can realistically sustain.

From understanding to action

The pathway through the work.

  1. Make work visible

Establish a shared view of requests, ownership, and decisions.

  2. Clarify the path

Redesign the handoffs from intake through review and delivery.

  3. Support adoption

Pair the workflow with standards, documentation, and training.

Let’s find the way forward.
